What method is used to fill the cast basalt valve with butter?

The cast basalt pipe valve company explained that the purpose of filling the cast basalt valve with butter is to prevent the opening and closing of the cast basalt valve from blocking. The role of butter is to lubricate and make the cast basalt valve open and close flexibly. Operation method of filling grease with cast basalt valve:

(1) Preparatory work

Prepare butter, grease gun and cotton yarn

(2) Operation steps

① Unscrew the upper cover of the grease gun and add butter into the cavity.

② Close the lid of the butter gun and the handle of the Yadong butter gun until butter flows out.

③ Select a suitable grease gun nozzle and install it at the grease outlet of the oil gun according to the specification of the oil nozzle configured by the valve.

④ Wipe the valve nozzle with cotton yarn.

⑤ Align the grease gun nozzle with the valve grease nozzle, and fill the handle of Yadong grease gun with grease until the grease overflows from the valve stem hole.

⑥ Fully open the valve, apply grease evenly on the stem thread, turn the hand wheel and switch it for several times.

⑦ Count the tools and clean the equipment.

(3) Technical requirements

① The butter gun should not be squeezed too fast to prevent butter splashing.

② Operators shall not face the valve directly.

③ After adding butter, the valve can be opened and closed flexibly.
