What are the requirements for zinc layer of cast basalt slab introduced by the manufacturer of cast basalt slab?

The requirements of basalt casting plate are higher and higher, and the basalt casting plate manufacturers use it more and more widely. At present, basalt  casting plate manufacturers use it in almost many industries. There is a zinc coating on the surface of the plate. The zinc coating plays an important role in improving the appearance of the plate and protecting the appearance. However, its zinc coating has requirements:

1、 Appearance: all cast basalt slabs shall be visually inspected, and their main surfaces shall be smooth, free of droppings, roughness, zinc pricks, peeling, zinc leakage and residual solvent slag. There shall be no zinc nodules and zinc ash at the parts that may affect the use or corrosion resistance of hot-dip galvanized cast basalt slabs. As long as the thickness of zinc layer is greater than the specified value, dark or light gray uneven color areas are allowed on the surface of galvanized cast basalt slab. White rust is allowed on the surface of boards stored under wet conditions.

2、 Thickness: generally, the thickness test of zinc layer is based on the specified number of samples, and the test is carried out according to the test method of specifications. According to the size of the main surface area of cast basalt slab, the thickness of zinc layer measured in the test shall meet the following requirements respectively:

For cast basalt slabs with a main surface area greater than 2M2, the average thickness of zinc layer on the inside of all basic measuring surfaces of each slab in the sample shall not be less than the corresponding average thickness of zinc layer; For plates with main surface area less than or equal to 2M2, the local zinc layer thickness measured on the inner side of each basic measuring surface shall not be less than the local thickness value, and the average zinc layer thickness measured on all basic measuring surfaces of the sample shall not be less than the corresponding average thickness value. When testing the quality of cast basalt slab, we should also check whether its zinc coating meets the above requirements.
